Superbowl Sunday Plans

So, are you a football family or couldn't you care less about Sunday night's game?

We, most definitely are a football family.

We (the boys) usually watch games every Sunday during the regular season and anticipate the "big" game for weeks.

So, are you wondering what our plans are for Superbowl Sunday?

You think we have a party planned with lots of good appetizers, snacks and lots of friends over to watch while Peyton & Drew battle it out?

I wish!

The truth is, we will be at our daughter's gymnastics meet that Sunday night.

You read correctly - a gymnastics meet on Superbowl Sunday - who comes up with that?

Daddy is less than trilled.

This will be just one of many things we do to support those we love so much.

So, what are your plans for Superbowl Sunday and who are you pulling for?

Peyton Manning and his Indianapolis Colts?

or Drew Brees and his New Orleans Saints?

I have to admit that I like both of these teams, but I think I have to pull for my man, Peyton.  He's just the best.  You can see why I like the Saints here.

Hope you have a good weekend planned.  I think I heard the mention of more wintery weather for our area but I'm choosing to ignore it while I search online for a new home in a warmer climate.

Enjoy your Superbowl Sunday, no matter what you're doing.

Being from the great state of Indiana, we will be decorating the house for the "BIG" game, serving the traditional munchies and inviting a few friends to join us. My older two boys will be at the church superbowl party. They have rented a vacant department store, built a rock climbing wall, brought in pool tables, ping pong and air hockey tables to entertain them. Lots of food and the game on the big screen. Wish you could join us! R is a good dad to go to the meet and miss the game. Can he at least listen to it on an ipod or something? Is there an AP for that?

Who planned that gymnastics meet????....CRAZY!! We don't go nuts over Superbowl and will just watch it at home. I always like watching for the halftime performance AND the commercials. But, I don't think the commercials have been as great the last few years as they used to be.

Also, doesn't matter to me who wins. I'm sure my hubby knows what team he wants to win though.

Linking over from Between Here and Home. And gotta say having recently moved to Indy, it's all Colts at our house. Looking so forward to a party with all the traditional food. PS ~ Love the picture of your dog below. Border Collies are such sweethearts.

We aren't big football people...my bunch is waiting for the Daytona next Sunday, though!

Your "winter" pictures in the post below are beautiful! It has been unseasonably cold here, too, but we have managed to miss the snow! Love the picture with the ice and holly! Very pretty!

Ya'll stay warm! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
