(I got a quick drive-by shot.)
(Look at the size of that peach.)
After browsing a few of my magazines the other day, I decided that I needed to make a peach cobbler with my new findings.

Words just will not do justice to describe how yummy this dessert was. Throw a little vanilla ice cream on top (since it's not sweet enough) and enjoy.1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 28 oz. canned peaches*
cinnamon
vanilla ice cream
*use fresh peaches if available. If fresh:
2 cups peaches, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water
Boil & simmer 10 minutes. Stir often making sure sugar is disolved. Substitute for canned peaches.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put butter in 9" by 2" baking dish & place in oven to melt.
Stir sugar & flour together, mix well.
Slowly add milk & continue stirring to prevent batter from lumping.
Being careful not to burn yourself, remove hot dish from oven.
Pour batter directly over butter. Do Not Stir.
Spoon fruit on top then gently pour syrup on top. Do Not Stir.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Bake 30-45 minutes or until golden.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Enjoy!
