Hi everyone. Am I the only one who can't believe that May is almost over?
What a busy time of year it is.....
Rob & I just celebrated our 15th anniversary on the 23rd. It seems like just yesterday that we were packing up our U-haul truck & heading out to Louisville, Ky. When I think back over all of the memories I get all misty eyed (Bray would say that doesn't take much).
Brayden is still busy with baseball. They play-offs begin on 6/4 and his first game is against his best friends team and they've already lost to them twice. Rob told him they're due for a win. Let's hope so. EOG's begin next week and we will certainly be glad when they are done.
He has started getting into fishing this spring. Rob tries to take him out as often as he can - in fact, Rob checked him out of school early today so they could take the canoe out to see what they can catch. I'm pretty sure it won't be anything we can have for dinner so I'll prepare something else just in case.
Gracie is still enjoying the baseball games - from the playground. She usually plays for a solid two hours everytime we have practice or games. It's a great way for her to make new friends. We all know how hard that is for her. (ha ha) She's very excited that our neighborhood pool opens this weekend and celebrated the same way she does every year - by getting a new bathing suit. The girl loves clothes - I have no idea where she gets it from.
Well, it's 2:00 pm - almost time to get her from school but I need to run one important errand before that - I must go pick up our pool passes or we won't be enjoying that at all this weekend.
Hope this finds everyone doing well and have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend.

May 14, 2007
Ok - well I've decided to try this blogging thing again. I've done it once but didn't find the time to maintain it (but this time will be different).
Here is the latest info from the Edwards crew:
Rob is doing well & working not quite as much as he did in April. Let's just pray that all of the trains stay on the tracks and keep on moving thru. In the little bit of spare time he's found, he's been helping Bray out with his baseball. They're always outside catching or hitting.
Things with me are good. I had an ok mother's day - aside from a couple of spats with the children everything went well. I told Rob that an older mom's idea of a great mother's day is for all of her children to be around and a younger mom's idea of a great mother's day is for all of her children to be away. (only kidding) I'm staying busy with the end of the school year fast approaching there is always something to do with the PTA. I'm glad that next year I will only be on the hospitality committee not VP like this year. It just got too hectic. I'm enjoying the beautiful spring weather although I really need to get outside and do some work in the yard. It's hard to start a landscape from scratch but we're working on it.
Brayden is enjoying playing baseball this spring. It's his first year in kid pitch and he's learned a lot from the older boys. Next week he has the dreaded End of Grade (EOG) tests and he's nervous about that but I'm sure he'll do just fine.
Walton-Grace is as spunky as ever. Always running around with baby dolls, stuffed animals or play horses. Everything she plays she gets into completely. She will be starting gymnastics in June and I can't wait. She's always flipping or twirling aroung the house - maybe this will give her an outlet. Can you believe she'll be a first grader in August? Where has the time gone?
Well, better run for now. I'll try to post at least once a week but we'll see. I've still got a lot to figure out about this. Walton-Grace & I will be in Rocky Mount this coming weekend for Tori's bridal shower - hopefully we'll get to see some old friends.
More later......
