The Price He Paid

As we all gather with family and friends around our tables, and as we listen to all of the beautiful music during the church services that we'll attend.....let's be sure to remember the price He paid for sinners like you and like me.

It's because He is such a loving Father that He sacrificed His own Son so that we might have life everlasting with Him in Heaven.

As we celebrate this time of rememberance, I pray that you all have your own personal relationship with God. If not, please ask Him to open your heart and your mind to His wonderful ways. You can always trust and depend on him - in good times and bad. He will NEVER foresake you.

Just remember to come to the cross.

May you all have a blessed Easter weekend.

On a different note:
We will be taking a quick trip to my parent's house for Easter this weekend. We can't leave until after B's baseball game (which they may or may not cancel due to last night rain - I really need to know that now people.)
Please be in prayer for us as we do a lot of traveling in a short amount of time and also for my step-dad who has been in the hospital for over a week. This is not anything new, he has a weak heart since his heart-attack six years ago, but it's just getting weaker and he had kidney damage from the same attack and they are betraying him now as well. The function of one depends on the function of the other & the tests are showing that he had another small heart attack last week.
We're going up to check on him and my mom and enjoy time with my sisters and their families as well.
Again, I hope all of you have a wonderful Easter celebration & I'll check back in with you next week.
