Ballpark Fun

We've been watching a lot of this guy playing his favorite game lately and I don't mind at all.

I actually love spending a pretty Saturday at the ballfield, chatting with new found friends, eating sunflower seeds and watching my little guy learn so much more than just baseball.

They had a game tonight and it was a game of many firsts.

It was B's first time pitching......ever.
(He did ok, especially since he was put in with the bases loaded and NO outs.)

One of his teammates hit his first Grand Slam. So fun to watch.

And, B's sister actually sat and watched part of the game. Not only did she watch but she actually cheered him on. (This, my friends, is progress.)

Great job, Braves! Your parents and coaches are proud of your hard work and great sportsmanship. Keep it up this Saturday.

Update on Granddaddy:

We went up to NC to check on him this past Sunday. He was still in the hospital but doing much better so they decided to let him go home on Monday. The kids & I stayed until today and I'm glad we did since he had a fall during the night. He didn't get hurt, he just has a hard time with his legs supporting him sometimes. We were able to get him back into bed and this morning he headed off for a dialysis treatment.
Please continue to pray for him but please also pray for my mom as she has a hard job ahead of her.

Hope you're all having a good week and I'll be by to say hello soon.

What a cutie he is! I love the ballpark too. My kids were never really into the baseball thing. I do love me some seeds though! hehe
Im with you about not knowing where to start with the decorating. This is a style Im not use too. It's simple and clean and where do you begin???? My first step as you can see is getting rid of a ton of stuff. I need to then sit down and decide where to go next. It's fun that you will be taking this journey too...maybe we can share some grat ideas. Looking forward to it!

We just got the call last night for Lexi's ball team practices. She is in machine pitch this year. She LOVES playing ball and is pretty good at it too!

It is fun going to the ballfield and watching our little "superstars" play isn't it!?!?

I'll keep your grandaddy and your mom in my prayers.

Have a great Earth Day!♥

I have 3 kids that play soccer, 2 in high school. They're all playing spring league now. Some day I am going to miss all of this activity!

Happy Sunday!
