Thanksgiving in my mind

I've been told by my husband that I have a vivid imagination.
That doesn't always mean a creative imagination.

I've seen the work of you wonderful ladies in bloggyland and there is no way I could ever come up with the ideas that y'all so brilliantly translate into reality.

So....I have to resort to translating other ideas & making them work for our family.
I frequently get a lot of these ideas from wonderful sources:
(there's a theme here)

You all know I have an addiction to my magazines.
Well, in keeping with a system that has never let me down, I have put together the perfect Thanksgiving Day.

Would you like to take a look?

The location:

My dream is to live on the water one day so in my mind that's where we'll be.

The Table:

(There are several choices. Which is your favorite?)

Some of the wonderful food:

And afterwards:

Along with a nap.

That's what is going on inside my mind, however what we get may be something altogether different.

Thanks for playing along.

OK, this is adorable. I'm the exact same way! I love all of those magazines and desire those photos. However, reality is not quite the same thing now is it? Cute post!!!

I love, love, LOVE the candle with the corn kernels. How easy and unique is that? I'll definitely take that pecan pie dessert! Oh yes, I will! Everything looks wonderful!

Your post today is making me hungry (and also jealous because I don't have time to make such beautiful arrangements!)

I am so coming over to your house. My house is always too loud has the smell of burnt brown in serve rolls and grumpy kids that just want to be with their friends instead. Your dream sounds good to me. Awwww but I would miss all of my crazyness~

Ahem...I've got the setting for you, although here in WV it's too cold usually to eat outside on Thanksgiving ;)
I think I like the first table better for Thanksgiving, the second makes me think Christmas!

I love magazines and always grab one from the display to read while I'm eating lunch at work. Then about twice a month I spend a few hours at Barnes & Nobles reading their magazines. I'm a total magazine-holic *smiles*

Thank you for the comment you just left on my blog. :) And, YES, I couldn't believe all the paperwork that SC needed for my DL. I thought I had everything then had to run all the way home to get my marriage license. I was, "seriously????" LOL!
