They think they're funny.

Well, it's that time of year again.

Christmas card picture time.

This is one of my favorite holiday activities.

I have visions of beautiful pictures of my children from which to choose.

You're probably guessing by now that it never works out the way I had it planned.

And, you would be right.

Everyone else hates this annual activity.

They always give me a hard time.

Guess what?

Not this year.

The children actually put their chosen clothes on, fixed their hair & smiled when I asked them to.

It was lovely.

They did start to get a little silly toward the end of my photo session and this is what they came up with:

Yea, like any of that is going to end up on my Christmas card.
I don't think so.
But they are funny kids.
I'm not showing the final decision, yet.
That will come later, but for now......"Peace out!"

Seriously...actually, I've only been blogging since like 10/10/08. I don't even know how to do the thing like you did at the top of your blog w/ the photo. The kid photos are cute. They look like gangstas! I think they'd get along well w/ my daughter. I like the photo in the upper left. That would be a good Christmas card photo.

That is too funny! I LOVE it.

And for good friends as a joke, I totally think you should send the second to the last one.

Peace OUT!

Funny! I would just use one of those, people like that kind of thing. The year before last, my youngest (boy) was 5 and did NOT want to co-operate. He kept putting rabbit ears behind the girls heads. We all got tickled and I snapped a picture - and used it. I got compliments on that the whole year! To top it off, his shirt said "jingle bells, all girls smell".
Glad to know mine aren't the only ones who give a hard time over the annual card picture!
