It was a rainy day...

and the hubby was out of town....so, what's a girl to do but break out a paint brush or two?

I was tired of my plain white doors and happened to have a gallon of glossy black out in the garage and....

Voila!

Before and afters:

Front door:

Back door:

Garage door:

My son & I were talking about our house while I was painting and he said that it feels "cold" to him.  Well, that's all this mom needs as confirmation that she needs to warm things up with some color.  I've been on this neutralizing kick for a while but we just love color, so I'm looking forward to bringing it back.
I just have to make up my mind on which ones to use.

Hope you have a great week.

Wow girl, great job! Love how the black pulls out the lead in the glass. Beautiful (and warm). :) I painted exterior garage trim today, not exciting, but feels good to check it off my to-do list.

Wow! That paint makes the biggest difference! The doors look so great! So glad you found my blog! I'm going to love reading about your life in SC!

Love what you did to the doors, they really pop now :) Speaking of 'pop', I popped over from Melanie's blog, my giveaway ends tonight, if you get a chance to come over click on the link to leave a comment and enter.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs Denise

The doors look awesome! I recently did the same to all the doors here, except for the back of the front door. I wasn't sure how it would look, but now I'm convinced it will look great (like the rest of them).
