Our Christmas Home

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I absolutely love this time of year for many reasons.

1. The birth of Jesus Christ
2. Giving gifts
3. The food
4. The music and
5. Decking the Halls

Here are some of the holiday touches around our home.

These are the two new ornaments we added for the children this year. One for the NCSU football fan and one for the Wizard of Oz fan.

Our family room.

Please ignore the foot in the corner and the pile of toys on the floor. These people I live with just won't cooperate with a photo shoot.

I've changed the mantle a little. These lovely angels reside there (for now).

A small table in our foyer.

My Santa collection is on top of the entertainment center.

That's it for now.

For the snow, which I discovered from The Berry's Patch, I just googled: snow effects on blogs & clicked on the first thing I came to. It was easy - 1 click.

Can I curl up in your family room with a cup of coffee and just relax? I might have to move the NCSU ornament, and then everything would be just perfect. :) hee hee

Love all your decorations, especially the Santa decorations. And the snow falling is all I've seen so far! The Rudolph cursor is from Webfetti. You download their toolbars & can pick one. You may be able to click in the upper right corner of my blog b/c since I added him, I can see something like "powered by webfetti" which is right in the way of my sign in!

I love it all.. The tree looks like it is 15 feet tall. The gold and the perfect shade of Christmas red is beautiful. The mantle, tree, etc look like Better Homes and Garden. I especially love the picture thru the blinds, you can imagine the love and laughter within...I will post mine when the tree finally get some ornaments/balls.

Girl, don't you know the $6 million was in his (Tuberville's) contract in the event he left and/or or got fired? Wonder what I'd have to do to get that kind of guarantee?

Judy

P.S. Your home looks great!

Gotta love the z pack...that's what I'm on plus Mucinex (spelling?). I do feel a lot better today but hubby won't let me overdo anything so I guess I'll "force" myself to rest a few more days. Don't have to work again until Tuesday and my boss went home sick today!

Thanks for your kind words,
Judy
