It's Inauguration Day

I'm always very sentimental when it comes to endings and new beginnings.

Today is no different.
It's a very important day in our country's history.
A day for Change.
We've heard a lot about that in the last year.
Change.

Well, America, the change you wanted is here and I pray that it is for the better.
The Bible teaches us that we are to honor our leaders, so based on that
I support our new President.
I'll definitely be saying a few prayers on his behalf and hope that our economic
problems improve.
I hope that all of you have a wonderful Inauguration Day.
Watch that coverage and embrace the leaders that God has put in place.

Thank you for your words. It is difficult to find them on a day like today when the old has gone and the new has come. I will stand in prayer with you.

I am praying, praying, praying. I also support our President regardless of who I voted for. I am not able to perform that job, so my fervent prayers go up for someone who can.

I will be praying for our country and its leaders, but I am still struggling with the support thing. I have a heavy heart when it comes to that.

Great post. I'm praying with you. Change can be scary. But hopefully this is the right change.

Great words! I will be praying with you. Sadly, I won't be watching because I am at work. Boo!

right on...I will continue to pray for our new leader even though it's not what I wanted. To not support him would only hurt us.

On a down note I think we are in for troubled times...problems that are here and that occurred even before Bush can't be fixed in 4 years...but our country can be ruined in that time...I'm only hoping for the best and will continue to pray for our new leader!

I am definitely praying for our new leader. In Daniel it says that the Lord sets up kings and disposes them. So I know the Lord has placed him in power so I will support him.
