Enjoying our last week of summer break.

Didn't we just start seeing all of the "out of school" posts around blogland?
It's just another reminder that our lives are passing way too quickly.
Remember to enjoy each day because it's a day that we won't get back.

So long summer vacation - it's time to hit the books again.
We do have one last trip planned for this weekend. We'll give summer break a good send-off and come back ready to tackle 6th and 3rd grades.

It looks like you have had a fabulous summer!! I am finding it hard to believe it is already almost over. Lexi will start back on Aug. 19th and be in the 5th grade. She is excited about it but not looking forward to all of the homework.
Bye bye summer. I'll miss you. You went by way to fast. School starts the 12th for us. We're taking one last trip this wknd too before football overtakes our lives!

We start school back around the 17th. Our real vacation isn't until October.

What a fun summer. Our schools start back tomorrow, and I just cannot believe it. Your kids sure look like they had a happy one. :)
Thank you for your comment about my mom. She is doing some better. I'm sorry that your stepdad is going through it, too. I am very thankful that they've got the option of the dialysis, though. Is your stepdad on a transplant list, or is that an option? It isn't an option for my mom.
