I have an addiction. (Gasp!)
It is time to confess......that I... am... addicted to.........
SCHOOL SUPPLIES! (Double Gasp!)
Whew. That feels so much better.
I just couldn't keep it to myself any longer.
Temptation is everywhere and I need a support system.
I go to Walmart and there they are.......notebooks for 5 cents! Pencils for...I don't even know how much.
I crave them so much I don't even pay attention to the prices - I just throw them in the cart.
Filler paper, colorful divider folders (with pockets), brand new crayons....oh, the smell.
This is the toughest time of the year for addicts like me and I'm thinking of starting a program.

OMG, me too (but you totally knew that)! It's sad...my favorite stores are Staples, Office Depot, etc. I LOVE school/office supplies!

Do you have room in the support group for one more? I have always loved new pens and pencils, crayons and markers, notebooks and Trapper Keepers (remember those?). This is the most wonderful time of the year!!

Me too! I still cannot go into Sam's without buying a package of pens or markers. My parents tell me that every B-day and Christmas they shopped for me at the teachers supply store. :) There is just something about all that stuff!

I just said the other day that I think I miss buying these things. My kids are homeschooled now so we don't have to have new folders, pens, pencils, etc. every fall. We just pick up what we need (if anything) as it comes time to use it.
But there are so many pretty folders, notebooks, etc at Wal-Mart last week that I missed not needing to buy them!!
This is so funny! I love when Walmart brings out the school supply aisle. I love all the colors and smells. So fun!

I love to buy stuff for my boys... but I also have to get stuff for my class too.
Although I never run out of stuff...I'm always afraid I will... so I stock up and over buy.
You can never have too much.

ok, so I can TOTALLY relate! I thought I was the only one! I think back to school shopping is WAY more fun for me than my daughter...she's like "Whatever mom!" and she's only 6! hehe
Good to hear I'm not the only one with that addiction. The thing is that I have to restrain myself from buying them because my oldest daughter is only 2 years old.
Oh goodness I thought I was the only one.
I have to restrain myself whenever I pass staples. I just cannot help myself.
